The Country Club is a
private course designed by William Bell in 1928, a hilly,
18 hole private course features many trees and bunkers. The
clubhouse was restored to it's original Monterey Spanish style in a $6.9
million remodel in 1996. One writer was inspired to write about the
course: "The views to be enjoyed from every tee, fairway and green
almost become secondary to the scenery".
