This photo was taken from the south face of Mount Soledad, overlooking Pacific & Mission Beaches towards Point Loma. Mission Bay is to the left. Homes:   Single family detached. Homes here were built mainly in the 60's and 70's. Rutgers Road area is very popular - homes sell from $1,200,000 and up depending on the view.

Further down the slopes homes can be bought from about $900,000 for around 1,700 sq ft. up to around $1,500,000.

The roads off Calle Miramar cascade down the hill so as to maximize the ocean and bay views that most of these homes enjoy. Expect to pay from $900,000 for a home with an average of 2,500 sq ft.
