excellent shops, the beaches, tide pools, the unbelievable variety (over
100) of the finest restaurants in California, Museum of Contemporary
Art, etc. In addition there are some 40 art gallaries! |

Beach:
La Jolla Cove - A small beautiful beach, tucked between
towering sandstone cliffs, with tide pools and caves. Excellent swimming and diving. Ellen
Browning Scripps Park is perfect for picnics. Photo:
La Jolla Cove
Children's Pool - A breakwater keeps the
water here gentle, unfortunately, swimming and diving is prohibited due to pollution
created by (delightful) seals. |
